WTS: Barton Perreira Watson spectacles (A STEAL / Made in Japan / Highest Quality Zyl Acet

Dear all,

Looking to sell a pair of Barton Perreira Watson spectacles because I seldom wear this pair now. I used it for a brief while but even when I don't I wash my frames quite often; hence the 'Made in Japan' and 'CE' words on the ends of the temples have become rather faded. Other than that, it is a very nice quality pair of Barton Perriera specs. Comes with original BP case, cleaning cloth and also sample lenses shown in picture.

Short history of Barton Perreira brand:

Internationally acclaimed accessories designer Patty Perreira met Bill Barton (Ex-President of Oliver Peoples) and started their own line of highest quality 'Made in Japan' spectacles when Oliver Peoples decided to shift its manufacturing HQ from Japan to Italy. The Barton Perreira brand believes in the keeping to the quality make of spectacles from Japan whilst upholding its cutting edge design.

I'm an eyeglass collector and i've decided to part with these Japanese frames. They are of top quality and are handmade in Japan, using zyl acetate. The temples are made from 100% Titanium which has a very long shelf life. You can feel its sturdiness and quality when you touch and feel them. I assure you that this would fit most faces and you will receive alot of compliments for them. They are in the range of exclusive brands like Dita, Yellows plus, Oliver Peoples, Garrett Leight Optical, Clayton Franklin, Lunor, Masunaga, Ayame etc.

Brands like Rayban, Oakley, Gucci, Prada, CK won't even come close in quality and detail as they are just fashion eyeglasses and not quality items (many of which are made in italy under Luxotica which just mass produces eyeglasses and stamps them with any brand name)

Measurements of the Barton Perreira Watson frame:

Lens size: 45mm

Nose bridge: 21mm

Temple length: 145mm

Condition: 10/10 (Almost pristine) - I can also send it for polish before dealing.

Looking at SGD 350 (Nego). For serious buyers or collectors. It retails on various distinguished US shopping sites for USD 290 -350 and on some Japanese sites for SGD 600 (after conversion). This is also not inclusive of shipping costs. I'm not sure if any local shops carry this brand but they will definitely be overpriced if they do exist.
