Urgent IT Job Position- System Engineer
Singaporean, PR and Foreigners are welcome to apply for this position.
This position is based in Singapore
Salary Package : At least SGD $4000 + AWS
Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am – 6pm
May have to work weekends during emergencies or scheduled shutdowns
Min relevant working Experience – 6 years (must be in SG) as a Systems Engineer or Asst Manager
Management ,Configuration & Deployment of the following (is a MUST):
- IT Security - Trend Micro Enterprise Security (Anti-virus);
- Checkpoint or Meraki Firewalls
- Telephony - Cisco Voice Gateway
- Networking - Cisco Routing and switches, networking, Wifi (Cisco AP)
- Windows Server deployment / maintenance / administration / backup & recovery
- Familiarity in use of SAN and NAS equipment
- All in-house applications & systems
- Remote Access Management – VPN, Terminal Services, Citrix Client, Mobile devices
- Standard End User Applications – MS Office, etc.
Windows 2008 & 2012 Servers / domain / user administration is a MUST:
- Domain Server, DHCP, DNS, Print Server, Active Directory, DFS
- Domain & Local Server policy setup & management
- File server, Backup Solution
Management tasks / skills required:
- Annual IT Budgeting and Actuals reporting
- Reporting to Regional / HQ for IT policies and audit
- Creating & Maintaining IT Inventories, User guides, Instruction Manuals
- Liaising with HQ & External vendors for implementation of In-house IT Infrastructure
- DRP (Disaster Recovery Planning) and BCP (Business Continuity Plan)
Relevant Qualification: Min Diploma in IT or Computer Studies, relevant field
Certification: Min. MSCE (Microsoft Certified system engineer)
Other Certification: (Optional)
- CCNA ( Certified Cisco Network Associate)
- Database Administrator ( MS SQL DBA)
- Virtualization (VMWare & MS Hyper-V) experience an advantage
Relevant programming skills would be advantageous (VB , C++, etc.)
Suitable Strengths:
- Good at documentation of all IT matters, such as Inventories, user-guides, case handling, Reporting, etc.
- Trouble-shooting and analytical skills is a MUST
- Required to be on 24/7 standby for any issues
Good communication skills; able to work independently & in a team; friendly nature.
----Fluent in English is a MUST
