Full Time: Data Centre Operator

Individuals will be sub-contracted to NEC under a representing company.



Available position is limited to 2 individuals, duties of the available position is as such:

• Possess extensive knowledge of monitoring solution and is proactive in handling server generated/external events (power failure etc.), training also will be provided during initial month of employment


• Monitor nodes or devices through varying alerts prompted by HP BSM software


• Generate reports or graphs for respective teams to monitor through HP BSM software


• Able to work individually (alone) or as a team when situation calls for involvement.


• Perform daily checklist for monitored nodes/servers/network interface


• Engage in first level tasks with system and network engineers when prompted


• Consistently verify new information/relevant errors produced from network/system team during daily maintenance/UAT tests


• Provide or suggest improvement to operator database for easier reference from look up table


• Able to commit to 12 hour rotating or alternate shifts, public holidays and/or OFF days (if activated) and work schedule is regulated on 48 hour week


• Possess a history of G50 clearance or government related G50 cleared position(s)


• Able to commence duties following G50 clearance (typically after 14 to 28 days)
