The Hundred Cask Selection is limited to 29,588 bottles. The master blender of Royal Salute selects very old whisky from 100 casks to make this blend. The bottle is a unique porcelain flagon, which adds to the ceremony of tasting this unique Scotch. The Scotch is a blend of "very old Scotches" ranging from 22 to over 40 years old, and with the first taste there is a discernible and enjoyable difference. A very smooth blend, with a subtle complexity that you would expect from such a creation, and warm finish with Oak undertones. A more rounded experience, when compared to other, particularly younger, Scotches.
