Responsibilities:
Report to Business Development Manager and is to assist in managing the day to day activities of the Commercial Team in support of maintaining sales to existing clients and developing new business opportunities with new and existing clients, in accordance to organization's standards and procedures and to support other offices in the development of their business opportunities where required.
Interface with the Senior Operations Manager (Singapore) and the Chief Accountant (Singapore) to ensure that Company, Singapore office and client expectations are met in accordance with the contracts and that expenditure and revenue associated with individual contracts are properly controlled by the Operations team.
Focal point for the management of sales and creation of new business, using local, national and international client bases, by seeking out, developing and maximising new business opportunities. Management responsibility and accountability for business development of the Singapore office in line with the Company framework and associated plans
Requirements
Degree in Logistics/Engineering
Posses fluent Written and Oral English & Mandarin.
Understanding of Logistics Business.
Contract Management experience in Multi-modal transport environment
Minimum of 3 years operational experience in the International Logistics Industry.
Experience in all three of the fundamental cargo transport streams, being Sea, Land and Air.
Experience in working on pricing, RFQ and tender bidwill be an added advantage
Proven good management and leadership skills
Retains social skills commensurate with a management position
Location: Central
Salary: $3,500 - $4,500
Office hour, 5 days
