Never did I expect myself to be so suay to meet such a jerk this year.
I bought a Processor + Mobo bundle for $350 from Karmee 2 days ago on 25/05/14. This bundle was RMA in April which he claimed was not used until now. After a few round of testing, it turned out the Mobo is faulty. PSU and Rams from another PC were dismantled and tested with his bundle to confirm the fault . Immediately, i message this jerk on 26/05/14 btwn 12am - 1am to inform the board got issues and requested a refund. This jerk promised to take back.
On 27/05/14 today, this jerk insisted since the RMA/sealed processor is opened and used, he will not take back the processor and issue a full refund. Only the price for the mobo will be refunded. Price of the mobo was determined by him and the refunded amt was $140.
During the return, i asked him to check for missing items in case he accused me of not returning the full set. He did not bother to open up and check. It is apparent that he is not keen to RMA the faulty board with Ban Leong anymore. Did I receive a board that he knowingly know it's faulty in the first place? God knows.
I also told him, the norm for bundle is if any of the processor/Board is damaged, the seller should do a full refund. Why should i keep the processor when i cannot use without the board?
I also questioned him based on what reasoning, the board is priced at $140 for a refund. He did not give any answer and remain mum on it.
Leaving with no choice and facing a stubborn jerk, i took the $140.
I hope VR mod look into this and remove the neg feedback this jerk left for me.
